Noise Floor Post was started by Supervising Sound Editor Ryan Owens and Re-recording Mixer Michael Solano, with the sole purpose of being the preeminent Post Sound Facility in Los Angeles in order to always serve our clients needs. Noise Floor is all about producing the best sounding Television and Documentaries possible. Our aim going into any project is to obtain the highest level of craft, artistry, and technical expertise while comprehensively addressing every post sound need our clients have.
In our Santa Monica facility, we provide:

We are equipped to layback to any Network required delivery format including HD Cam SR, HD CAm, D-5, Digibeta, IMX, and DA-98.
Our combined post sound industry experience goes back almost 25 years.
Michael has been mixing Television for over 13 years, his current work can be heard on ‘The Biggest Loser 11’ for NBC, ‘Flying Wild Alaska’ on Discovery, and ‘Extreme Makeover:Weight Loss Edition’ for ABC. Michael was also the re-recording mixer for 'Age of Love', 'Beauty and the Geek', 'Scott Baio is...' on VH1, 'Campus Ladies' for Oxygen Network, 'Paradise Hotel', 'North Mission Road', 'LA Forensics', and a myriad of other series.
Ryan has been supervising for nearly a decade. He is twice nominated for an Emmy for his sound supervising on Survivor and The Apprentice. His credits also include sound supervisor on the academy award winning Documentary 'Mighty Times: The Children's March', ‘The Biggest Loser’, ‘Fear Factor’, ‘Lizzie Maguire’, ‘29 Down’, ‘Campus Ladies’, ‘Blade the TV Series’, ‘Hell's Kitchen’, ‘Dog Whisperer’, ‘Beauty and the Geek’, and ‘Gimme Sugar’ among many others.
